Late Review [Graphic Novel]: Watchmen..................By Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons

Watchmen, written by Alan Moore and drawn by Dave Gibbons is recommended by almost every comic book fans everywhere and is the ONLY comic book so far that won a Hugo Award.....


After finished reading it this evening (yes, i am WOLS), i must say...........WHOA !!!! A VERY POWERFUL BOOK !!!

Sure, it has superheroes and stuffs (more like Constumed Vigilantes) but the narrative is so unique and powerful (every chapters ends with a fictional 'article') and the characterisation is so deep.........and the world's painted so bleak...it must be painful to live in the 1980s America (though i am borned in the 80s )



To those who have read it, Do u consider the action of Ozymandias at the end, good or evil ???

If you are one of the 'heroes' there that knows the 'truth' of the 'invasion', will u exposed it to the world like Rorschache attempt to do or keep quiet like everybody else ???

Really, this book is a stunner and it's sad that not many comics of the current age can reach the level of depth and complexity as this one.

Overall, i encourage everybody, even those not interest in or even despise comics, to read this one, as it is beyond the level of your normal 'cookie cutter' super heroes comics.
