An original new year poem by yours truly...

what do you know, the party's here,
Work & stress, all should stay clear!
Recession & downtime, there's none to fear,
Just stay with your loved ones, those you hold dear!
Grab a bottle of vodka, a big can of beer,
A toast to all friends, a hug to all peers!
Here comes the festive season, for these we cheer,
Enjoy the moment, there is no tears!
A special greeting, from a place that's near,
Just want to say, A happy new year!

A Xmas Poem

On this night, the christmas spirits soar high,
Santas Clause does exist, there's no lie.
The recession may caused everybody's wallet to take a dive,
But on this joyous occasion, all these sorrows shall go good bye.
Enjoy the wine, the booze, the apple pie,
staying overnight, no problem, just tell your mum a lie.
Express your love, with contact eye to eye,
Plucked out your courage, say the word, don't be shy.
Only once per year, spit out, let it fly!
If rejected, never mind, you can always cry.
At least you got a present, though it's alway the same old tie,
There's always next year, the limit bound only by the sky!
